When I woke up from troubled dreams, I found that I had transformed into a serpent. I writhed about in my sheets, my now limited mind barely able to comprehend my rude awakening. I was unable to scream out in astonishment, and all that trickled from my fanged mouth was a slow and pathetic hiss.
Before I could lament my current form, a more pressing issue reared its ugly head. The temperature I had become accustomed to over the years now felt like a frozen wasteland, every inhale bringing a sharp and wretched pain to my lungs. At this point I knew I needed to retreat to a resting place of a more tropical temperature

I awoke from my, unfortunately, normal routine of torturous nightmares interrupted by brief moments of sleep, only to discover that in one of my aforementioned brief moments of sleep, I had transformed into a frog.
